Big Data

We assist Governments, Intelligence Agencies, and Defense Ministries with a variety of predictive data, threat assessment/anticipation, and various concerns of interest.

What is Big Data/Data Collection

With mission appropriate underlying infrastructure, data streams and user toolsets; Proper and conducive analyzation and systematic extraction can assist in discovering valuable insights, aide and contribute to better decisions making and solve real-world defense, security, military, political or economic problems.

Big data is the collection of data through various technological sources. This Data is then processed in a way that traditional data mining and handling techniques are unable to analyse. Big Data involves extensive, heterogeneous, autonomous sources with appropriated and decentralized control. These characteristics provide an acute threat for organizations using traditional data management mechanisms to store and process these huge datasets.

Using developed algorithmic technology in the use of collecting analyzation and interpretation of primary, secondary data and qualitative/quantitative data. Big data has now become a strong focus of global interest that is increasingly attracting the attention of national security experts, defense industries, government, military and other organizations worldwide.

How Data is collected

Internet of things (IoT):

IoT analytics is performed by applying data analysis tools or procedures to the various types of data IoT devices generate. Using IoT analytics, valuable information can be extracted from massive data collections that can then be used to advance development in defense, public safety, surveillance, and monitoring

Spatial analytics:

Routinely used to analyze location-based IoT data and applications. Spatial analytics deciphers various geographic patterns, location oriented problems, personnel movement and growth of networks. Assisting in the determining factor the varying degree of spatial relationship between a personnel, geographic location, or transportation vehicle, movement or stagnation between various physical objects, targets.

Streaming analytics:

Streaming analytics, sometimes referred to as event stream processing, facilitates the analysis of massive “in-motion” data sets. These real-time data streams can be analyzed to detect emergency or urgent situations, facilitating an immediate response. The types of IoT data that benefit from streaming analytics include those used in traffic analysis, air trafficking, and the tracking of financial transactions.

Time series analytics:

Time series analytics is comprised of time-based data, sequenced at equally spaced intervals.  Data points, Pattern recognition, econometrics, signal processing and communication engineering are analyzed to reveal any anomalies, patterns, or trends. Identifying and accurately forecasting demand for supply items are vital steps in the planning of a military operation as they facilitate effective decision making

Prescriptive analytics:

Prescriptive analytics is used to extract and analyze existing data aiding the user in forecasting future probabilities by utilizing structured and unstructured data, mathematical models and computational models PA, Can be comprised of machine learning, operations research, natural language processing, applied statistics, signal processing and image processing.
